We have no association with Basildon and Southend Housing Action (BASHA) or the South Essex Heckler. Whilst they are perfectly entitled to free speech we must distance ourselves as a group from their approach, particularly the unpleasant flyers they distributed at the council meeting on Thursday. GAG have always sought action through political and legal channels and not through cartoons showing characters with pitchforks and torches.
