Keeping Our Badgers Safe

badge
Frank Last, the chair of the Essex Badger Protection Group works tirelessly to protect badgers. He has spoken at our public meetings and reported to the council about the need to keep the badgers on the Nethermayne/Dry St site safe from development. They may be in danger from another source. Badger culling is still on the Government’s agenda and a national program begins in 2014 despite the culls being abandoned in Somerset and Gloucestershire. At the moment the county is free of bTB and a vaccination program is being set up.  Please sign the petitions asking local councils not to permit culling on their land.
