The appeal hearing for permission of judicial review was supposed to have taken place on Wednesday of this week. Geoff Williams, Rod Cole and I caught the train, got all the way to the court for 9.40am, only to be told the judge was unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances and the cases he was due to hear would need to be rescheduled. This is why we were reluctant to reveal the date as it can be changed; it is not confirmed until the previous afternoon and can easily be called off on the day. We expect the hearing will now be in early November as our barrister has a busy schedule.
